The Water Lollipop

The Water Lollipop is composed of a reinforced lollipop stick and an extremely dense lollipop core. The density of this core is fundamental for the existence of the Water Lollipop.

The Water Lollipop may only exist in a vacuum within an extremely large space, due to the extreme density of this core. The gravitational pull of the core is alarmingly high, and will pull any stray matter towards it should the matter present itself within a certain minimum distance. Licking the Water Lollipop is out of the question.

The Water Lollipop exists only because of the density of this lollipop core. Without it, no water would adhere to form the lollipop and there would be no Water Lollipop. Because of the high-density core, along with the presence of water in its vicinity, the Water Lollipop comes to be.

The Water Lollipop can be formed in several ways.

One method involves an initially completely matter-less vacuum and the introduction of the required water into the chamber through an input valve. This is the recommended method.

Another way is to carefully place the stick and core construct within a large near-vacuum, the only matter present being an adequate amount of water vapour. The water vapour will proceed towards the high-density core, collecting thereon. It will eventually cover the core as if it were a small world without landmass. The Water Lollipop is then formed. This method is not recommended since it may cause severe particle-collision with any other matter (e.g. robotic vehicles, humans) present in the chamber.

A further method involves the mixing of a water and mercury solution which is injected into the high-density cores containment vessel. The mercury is subsequently extracted. This method has the advantage that the lollipop is created before it’s placement within the vacuum chamber. It is in fact arguable whether this is an advantage or not, depending on the intended use of the Water Lollipop.

The Water Lollipop has been produced only once with 3 (three) casualties; 2 (two) dead, 1 (one) partially decapitated.
